Chrysler’s 2015 SEMA stand will be a veritable pupu platter of Mopar delicacies, one of which will be the Dodge Charger Deep Stage 3. In addition to its CIA-grade name, the Charger R/T-based Deep Stage 3 wears Silver Bullet paint and a matte-black upper-body treatment though which racing stripes are cut out to let the body color back through. The nose gets a thin splitter, while set of subtle skirting adds some life to the lower body sides. Out back, the bumper gets the now-cliché diffuser treatment and the even more cliché decklid spoiler, while the head- and taillamps are tinted bronze to match the dark bronze 22-inch Mopar Classic III wheels. The interior is swathed in Katzkin leather stitched with Mopar blue with blue R/T embroidery to match the blue R/T badges on the exterior.

Underneath, the Dodge Charger Deep Stage 3 packs a Mopar coil-over lowering kit, strut-tower braces front and rear, as well as a Mopar Big Brake Kit. The R/T’s 5.7-liter Hemi engine is pumped up by Mopar’s Scat Pack 3 Kit, which includes, among other things, a cold-air intake system, a cat-back exhaust, a low-restriction oil filter, a new camshaft, new valve springs, tie bars, and upgraded pushrods and gaskets. All told, it’s good for another 75 horsepower and 44 lb-ft of torque over the standard Charger R/T, according to Dodge, which by our math would bring output to a stout 445 horsepower and 439 lb-ft of torque. That splits the difference between the standard Charger R/T’s 380 horsepower and 395 lb-ft and the 485-hp 6.4-liter Charger R/T Scat Pack, with its 475 lb-ft. It probably sounds pretty good, too.
