LSx Willys Jeep

Starting life as a 1952 Willys CJ3A, this Jeep has been given a 4.8-liter GM LS V-8 engine, a Nitrous Express nitrous-injection system, and, more recently, a roll cage. (Watch early videos of the LSx Willys at the drag strip, and you’ll understand why the addition of a cage—nay, the addition of anything masquerading as a roof—is a big deal.) The rear tires are appropriately huge to deal with the LS engine’s might, and whimsical stickers such as “MAX POST SPEED 35 MPH” and “did somebody say cage?” (complete with outline of Nicholas Cage) complete the look. We’d love to drive this massively overpowered short-wheelbase, lightweight grunt machine, but we think killing ourselves would be more efficiently accomplished by attempting to mount a nearby rhinoceros.
